How can you tell if a scene is “working?” We are often too close to our stories to know, or to figure out what to do about it.
If our scenes aren’t moving the plot forward and raising the tension, we risk losing our readers.
In this week’s writer coaching session, we’ll discuss the one thing all scenes need, and how to make each scene fit one of the two types guaranteed to keep readers engaged (proactive and reactive scenes).
